WHAT IS IT? 
It is a service that Txorierri offers all the educational community (students, teachers, families) and its main aims are:
To devise programmes that promote maximum development of our students’ potential.
To coordinate students' guidance considering their working, personal, and academic fields.
It is led by our advisor (who holds a degree in Psychology) and who works within a team with internal and external educational agents.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Directly with students:

Organises information and prevention sessions (related to sex education, AIDS prevention) |

Informs about training itineraries to access higher education or the labour market |
| |

Carries out psychotechnical tests for academic and professional guidance and for personal advice. |
| |

Individually attends students who request guidance/advice for decision-making, overcoming difficulties, etc.

Provides guidance to former students for their professional retraining and labour insertion. |
Directly with families:

Provides permanent co-ordination with the Association of Families to encourage and channel their participation. |

Organises activities for the Family School. |
| |

Holds general informative sessions on: the school’s educational programme, academic and professional guidance. |

Individually attends families that seek advice (on the course of study their children should follow, or personal issues related to their children). |
In co-operation with tutors and teachers:

Draws up tutorial action plans (welcome programme for newcomers and their families, weekly programming of tutorial activities, individual attention for students and/or their families). |

Designs complimentary, extracurricular activities for different educational levels (careers guidance, languages, job training, professional motivation) |

Designs academic and professional guidance programmes: university access, job insertion. |
